Patty Johnson
Patty has been in ministry for over 20 years and has served alongside her husband as a pastor’s wife for the majority of that time. She has two teenage children who are actively involved in their local church. She is a biblical counselor and discipler of women. She has a passion to clearly and effectively teach the Word of God so that lives may be changed.
Workshop Speakers
Karen Layson | Motherhood
Karen Layson was saved at the age of 16. After graduating from college, she moved to Georgia to teach at a Christian school. It was at that church that she met her husband, and they have now been married for over 41 years. She spent over 16 years homeschooling their sons and is now the grandmother of 4 granddaughters. Over the years and wherever they lived, Karen has been involved in all aspects of church music, programs, hospitality, and children’s ministries, as well as church office and finance duties.
Lauren Brown | Teen Session
Lauren Brown is the wife of David Brown, the Assistant Pastor of THE BIBLE Baptist Church in DeLand, FL. The Browns have served there since 2007 and have been heavily involved in public outreach, the music ministry, and currently serve as the youth group leaders there.
Irene Birkenstock | Being a Good Christian Friend
Irene Birkenstock is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but she currently lives in Mesa, Arizona. She loves to hike the desert in the winter time and ride her bike when it gets warm. She enjoys getting into the King James Bible and seeing what the Lord has for her each day.
Bonnie Zorn | Seniors in Life
Bonnie Zorn has been a Pastor’s Wife to Danny Zorn, Pastor of Great Swamp Baptist Church in Walterboro, SC, for 22 years. She is the mother of 5 children, the grandmother of 10 grandchildren, and the great-grandmother of 3! She enjoys crafting and crocheting in her free time.

Nursery Access
We are not able to provide nursery workers during this event.
However, if it is necessary for you to bring a nursing baby, access to our nursery will be available by request.
